ANALYTICAL CALCULATION AND OPTIMIZATION OF THE BASIC ELECTRMAG-NETIC LOSSES OF THE ENERGY OF THE FREQUENCY-CONTROLLED PERMANENT MAGNET SYNCHRONOUS MACHINE IN START-BRAKING REGIMES
Journal Title: Електромеханічні і енергозберігаючі системи - Year 2018, Vol 2, Issue 42
Abstract
Purpose. The article is devoted to the analytical calculation of the frequency-controlled permanent magnet syn-chronous machine for various types of control during the start-braking regimes of the main electromagnetic energy losses: for maintaining the zero value of the longitudinal projection of the generalized stator current vector; at the nominal value of the modulus of the generalized vector of stator flux coupling or with the best relation between the electromagnetic moment and the modulus of the generalized stator current vector of this machine. Metodology. In the course of the research, methods of mathematical interpolation, similarity theory, and imitation computer modeling were used. Results. Interpolated mathematical dependencies for the listed types of control are proposed for changing the current value of the module of the generalized vector stator current of the machine from the current value of the electromagnetic moment developed by it, which makes it possible to simplify the mathematical form of these dependences. Originality. Analytic dependences for calculating the main electromagnetic losses of the energy of the said machine in the start-braking regimes under different forms (linear, parabolic and quasi-optimal) of the trajectory of its velocity are obtained. On the basis of these dependencies, optimization (minimization) of the main electromagnetic losses of the energy of the considered machine in the start-braking regimes was carried out and analytical dependences were obtained for calculating the optimum values of the acceleration and deceleration times of this machine for the mentioned control types with different specified types of velocity trajectories. Practical value. The practical value of the obtained results consists in the quantitative estimation for the frequency-controlled permanent magnet synchronous machine of the minimum possible (with different types of control and various velocity trajectories) of the main electromagnetic energy in the start-braking regimes, as well as the optimum values of the acceleration and deceleration times of the machine, at which the basic electromagnetic energy losses are minimal.
