Abstract
Th e development of products is increasingly dependent on successfully linking coolhunting and anthropology. Th is link provides reliable theoretical support in the elaboration and interpretation of tendencies. By knowing these tendencies as well as the attitudes and desires of their consumers, companies can develop their products as to maximize acceptance. For tackling a new issue, the present article focuses on the coolhunting practices and also awakes a refl ection on the importance of an ethnographic approach in trend research. Th is approach proves itself a fundamental support to the methodology of coolhunters due to the dependable conclusions they can reach.
