Abstract
The article is devoted to the disclosure of the philosophical content of the anthropological dimension of the rule of law and the functioning of the rule of law in the state studies theory by B. Kistiakivskyi. The current state of the national state studies leads to the need to rethink the principles of theoretical and philosophical and legal understanding of the state as a real, objective phenomenon, which is in constant development, not in itself but in close connection with the economic, political, spiritual conditions of society, with the nature of man, his needs. At the same time, it is also important to find out limits of state interference in public life, definition of forms and methods of its activity, interaction with civil society institutions through the prism of the actualization of problems of the study of state-building processes, taking into account the traditional approaches proposed by famous scientists, filling them with new content taking into account both world processes and features of development of the national statehood.
