Application of the TETRA Wireless Communication System in the Power Industry
Journal Title: Acta Energetica - Year 2016, Vol 29, Issue 4
Abstract
The article discusses the TETRA (Terrestrial Trunked Radio) wireless communication system in terms of its use in the power industry. It also discusses basic parameters of the system, its architecture, and possibilities of its application by the power company for voice communication and data transmission both for dispatch communication, direct communication between employees and in telemetry, telecontrol, and in remote control of the power network facilities.
