Planning the Operation of a Hybrid Generation System in the Power System in a Multi-faceted Approach
Journal Title: Acta Energetica - Year 2017, Vol 30, Issue 1
Abstract
The paper presents the results of a multi-criteria analysis of the cooperation of a hybrid generation system (HGS) with the power system. The analysed system consists of wind turbines, photovoltaic panels and an energy storage cell – a PEM fuel cell. The paper defines and describes the decision criteria of cooperation, taking into account energy-related, economic and environmental aspects. Results of analyses carried out for two consumer energy profiles are included. The impact of the weight of adopted decision criteria on the final result of the multi-criteria analysis was analysed.

A Method of Power System Static Stability Analysis
The paper reports on a study of changes in a power system’s operating parameters under a rise in its load. The results of these and similar studies may lead to an expansion of current views on a grid’s stiffness, its sta...
Modelling of Air and Oxy-fuel Combustion in a Circulating Fluidized Bed
The paper presents the use of a computer model to simulate the process of fluidization in an industrial boiler at Turów power plant. Air and oxy-fuel combustion was modelled for the study, and the effect of the geometric...
Evaluation of the Complementarity of Wind Energy Resources, Solar Radiation and Flowing Water – a Case Study of Piła
The paper analyses the complementarity of electrical energy yield, using a multiannual, monthly and daily approach, for a small hydroelectric power station, wind turbine and photovoltaic plant. The results obtained point...
Comparison of Transmission Capacities of Two Regulation Systems: Lateral and in-phase Control Transformers
This paper presents a comparison of regulation capabilities of lateral and in-phase control transformers in a selected node of a power system. Their regulation capabilities are presented, as well as cross-system exchange...
Model Tests of Under Frequency Load Shedding (UFLS) for Con-nected Systems of Continental Europe
The task force set up by working group System Protection and Dynamics within ENTSO-E model tests of Under Fre-quency Load Shedding (UFLS) for connected systems of continental Europe were carried out. Over 360 simulation...
