Model Tests of Under Frequency Load Shedding (UFLS) for Con-nected Systems of Continental Europe
Journal Title: Acta Energetica - Year 2016, Vol 28, Issue 3
Abstract
The task force set up by working group System Protection and Dynamics within ENTSO-E model tests of Under Fre-quency Load Shedding (UFLS) for connected systems of continental Europe were carried out. Over 360 simulation scenarios were performed including 16 strategies UFLS, 2 variants of load, 6 types of contingency, with and without considering the impact of dispersed generation. On the basis of calculation results conditions for improving the effectiveness of the UFLS were specified,, including recommended changes of UFLS settings, necessary to achieve this aim. The following report contains a summary description of the test method together with the presentation of selected results of summary calculations and conclusions of the study.

Evaluation of The Operation and Improvement of the Stability of the Factory Power Network, Taking into Account the Uncertainty of the Network Model Parameters
There was analysed the operation of a factory power network working in island mode and cooperating with the Polish National Power System (PNPS) in selected transient states. It was assumed that two generating units: one...
Operational Parameters of Low Power ORC Biomass Plant
This paper describes a power plant with electrical/thermal capacity of 750 kW/3.4 MW launched in February 2015 by a private investor in Żory, Poland. The ORC Organic Rankine Cycle technology used there enables turbine op...
Application of Matrix Notation for the Analysis of Power Changes in a 3 phase Circuit
Using the matrix notation for voltages and currents of a 3-phase system, a description of changing the instantaneous power on terminals of electric circuit has been offered as a third rank matrix. As a result of the powe...
Hardware-Software Implementation of Basic Principles Simulator of Nuclear Reactor Processes
The paper presents implementation process of basic principle simulators of a nuclear reactor processes. Simulators are based on point-models of processes: kinetics of neutrons, heat generation and exchange, poisoning and...
Laboratory Power System Model Designed for Testing Dynamic Processes
Identification tests of dynamic and transient processes which occur in a power system are usually based on simulation. Structures of systems used for simulation testing are built from simplified models of power system co...
