APPROACHES TO MANAGING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN UNIVERSITIES - ORGANIZATIONAL ASPECTS

Abstract
This article aims to explore key conceptual and practical aspects and management challenges of IT in modern universities. Impersonating the author's view of the nature and scope of IT management at the university and proposes extending the management model of interaction in organizations (Pearlson & Saunders, 2010) by creating an entirely new type of interaction called "academic monarchy."
