ДОМОГОСПОДАРСТВО ТА ДОМАШНЄ ГОСПОДАРСТВО: СУТНІСТЬ І ХАРАКТЕРНІ РИСИ

Abstract
The increasing complexity of economic processes and many other factors stimulate the intensification of research in the field of households, rethinking and improving the conceptual and categorical terminological apparatus, which operates with philosophy, political economy, economic theory, sociology, statistics. It is noted that households are both social phenomena and important business entities. In accordance with the definition of “household” and the institutional interpretation of this concept, we agree that “household” is an economic unit that ensures the creation and reproduction of human capital, independently makes decisions in different markets, owns and supplies factors of production and seeks to maximize the satisfaction of their needs. The institution of the household can be represented in the form of a set of formal and informal rules of conduct in the process of social and economic relations, which arise both in the middle of this subject, and in its connection with the external environment, in the performance of its functions of reproduction of labor, supply resources on the market and income generation. The economic behavior of households and the type, place and role of households in the economy are traditionally studied in terms of reproductive, production, consumer and savings functions of households and related to actions, economic activities, and the problem of choice. But changes in the socio-economic environment often require adaptation by households, in particular through the transformation of traditional forms of dedicated functions.
