Abstract
In this article the author gives the detailed analysis of an archival legacy which allows investigate and recreate history of one of the most outstanding events in a humanistic scientific community at the beginning of the XX c. – the XІІ Archaeological congress. The analyzed materials have given the probability to draw a conclusion on a representativeness of archival source base, which has opened ample opportunities for studying on the example of the Kharkiv archaeological forum processes formation of intellectual networks, professional researchers community of the most ancient past of Ukraine, establishment process of channels of a scientific communication which rendered assistance to process of a domestic historical science institutionalization/disciplinization, directions and scopes of searches expansion, to development and awareness of methodological standards, improvement of research receptions, accumulation of scientific experience.
