Argoul delaţiunii în raport cu limba comună

Journal Title: Argotica - Year 2013, Vol 0, Issue 1

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to present the linguistic structures of the slang and their cognitive mechanisms used by Romanian language to express the act of denouncement. Although a historical study is not possible because of the scarcity of written records for the earlier periods, we have identified older structures by means of lexicographic works, tracing their semantic evolution. The paper is focused on three slang expressions from present Romanian used in written newspapers and on the internet, i.e.: a da pe goarnă, a da în primire pe cineva and a sifona, approached in relation with older expressions and with English similar structures. In the same time we are interested in the relation of the slang expressions with the common language.
