ASSESSMENT OF THE FINANCIAL SELF-SUFFICIENCY OF THE REGION

Abstract
A question of the sufficiency of the financial potential of the region in terms of increasing its own financial resources was considered in the article. The causes of the insufficiency of financial resources of the region were determined, which on the one hand, is caused by objective laws of development of territories, on the other hand, by irrational distribution and ineffective use of resources. An estimation of the financial self-sufficiency of the region is offered for separate components of the financial potential: budget potential, investment potential of participants of social production and accumulation potential of households. Grouping regions of Ukraine in terms of the financial self-sufficiency per capita was accomplished which testifies the presence of the significant differentiation in the amount of the financial self-sufficiency of different regions. An analysis of the level of the financial self-sufficiency of Dnipropetrovsk region in the recent years was performed.
