ASSESSMENT OF WASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FACILITIES EFFICIENCY IN THE CONDITIONS OF SMALL SETTLEMENTS

Abstract
Purpose. The purpose of the work is to give justified, objective assessment of the expected efficiency of formation and operation of the technical facilities for waste management in the conditions of industrial enterprises upgrading on the example of creation of the solid household waste use system at Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Plant PJSC and deter-mination of optimal option of the required industrial state-of-the-art equipment using the automated modelling. Based on the determined relevance of the problem of low efficiency in waste management infrastructure design in the condi-tions of small settlements of Ukraine which characteristic feature is that the most villages and urban villages are lacking the specialized solid waste management enterprises and specialized industry-specific engineering facilities, have outdat-ed waste collection systems, chemical and bacteriological contamination of soils and underground waters, territory flooding with waste rare particles and solid household waste filtrate, and solutions poor efficiency in the course of im-plementation of main development phases of sanitation schemes, Methodology. The mathematical simulation of envi-ronmental and economic indices of long-term implementation of specialized processes was conducted. Originality. Using the developed program "Index-E" and by estimating the simulation model with the detailed study of a complex of interaction of environmental and industrial parameters of technical facilities options and with external economic, social and political factors which can have significant impact on the composition and functioning mode of the process line for a long period of its operation. Practical value. The efficiency in the formation of the fine particle processing system equipment for the unsorted stockpiled solid household waste at the production-technical site of AKHZ PJSC (Avdiivka, Ukraine) was forecast. Conclusions. Based on the assessment of the data obtained, the most efficient equipment was selected and recommended - granulator with pseudoliquified layer for solid household waste pelletizing with possible increased energy-saving of industrial processes of strategic coke and chemical enterprise of Ukraine and upgrading of the sanitation scheme of the settlement.
