METHODS OF WORKING OUT COMPLEX PLANS IN ISOLINES BY SEVERAL QUALITY INDICES FOR NATURAL STONE DEPOSITS

Abstract

Purpose. The purpose of the investigation is to develop methods for performing express analysis of a deposit quality and for carrying out geometrization of a deposit. Methodology. Following complex methods of investigation were used in the research work: graphoanalytical and numerical analysis; statistical processing of the results using computer-aided engineering; laboratory investigations and mining geometrical analysis. Findings. The aim of the paper is to study ap- plication of modern information-computer technologies in developing complex methods of geometrization of natural stone massifs for obtaining complex model of a deposit. According to the plans of a deposit quality indices worked out for a deposit exploration and exploitation, it is difficult to consider the efficiency of mining deposit, the directions to utilize block stone extracted in separate parts of a deposit, as well as its forecast cost. All mentioned above implies the development of a certain method to combine these plans for making quantitative outcome study of a deposit to analyze directions of its production utilization. The working out complex plans in isolines by several quality indices for natural stone deposits on the basis of mentioned methods is considered in the paper. Originality. This approach allows obtain- ing considerable amount of information on the rocks characteristics which are very difficult to collect using known methods of investigation. Thus, the use of information-computer technologies in mining facilitates getting new results; it increases efficiency of rocks investigation as well as rises quality of industrial products of natural stone. Practical value. The results can be used in scientific investigation of rocks and in the industrial production connected with rocks mining and processing. The obtained outcomes can be used for the definition of qualitative characteristics of a natural stone, research of genesis and structure of mountain breeds.References 10, tables1, figures6.
