SERVICE-RESOURCE MODEL OF THE FUNCTIONING OF URBAN PUBLIC PASSENGER TRANSPORT

Abstract
Purpose. To form methodological principles, structures and parameters of service-resource model of the urban pub- lic passenger transport. Service-resource model is intended to describe the composition, structure and relationships of internal and external resource transformations of subjects of urban public passenger transport in terms of unitary transport space of the city. Methodology. The methodology of integrated planning and system analysis has been used to form service-resource model. Service-resource model of urban public passenger transport is represented as a hierar- chical graph with a further decoupling on the separate modules, in which the procedure of formalization of its parame- ters is formed with the help of analytical dependences. The nodes of the hierarchical graph are configuration units, which are involved in the implementation of the transport service of urban public passenger transport and the ribs are resource and effective connections between them. Results. The methodology of service-resource model of the function- ing of urban public passenger transport is formed, which is based on the use of principles of the abstract representation of the process of interaction of resource opportunities of transport service customers with the resource transport assets in terms of an unitary space and existent structure of their relationships. The areas of applications of service-resource model of urban public passenger transport are singled out and requirements for its formalization are based. The struc- ture of the topology of the service-resource model is given, which provides dedicating of totality of its basic elements and structure levels. Dependences of definition of parameters of service streams are proposed, that reflect qualitative character of functioning of urban passenger transport. Originality. For the first time, the comprehensive presentation of public passenger transport functioning has been implemented within an unitary transport space city. Based on distribu- tion of processes to functions and the definition of objects of their implementation, forms and types of model process are singled out, that are realized in the functional environment of urban public passenger transport. Practical value. The proposed service-resource model is an effective tool for planning, strategic and operational management of urban public passenger transport system and evaluates its system efficiency and structural accordance due to providing resource- efficient conditions for its sustainability.
