Journal Title: Вісник Кременчуцького національного університету імені Михайла Остроградського - Year 2017, Vol 1, Issue 104
Abstract
Purpose. Methodological approach has been developed to managing technological safety of structures and installa-tions based on a level of an industrial facility corrosion proofness. Methodology. As used here, the concept of corrosion hazard includes indicators determining corrosion state or situation (threat) at which the probability of damage increases. Process-approach to ensuring process safety of structures reflects DMAIC action strategy (define, measure, analyze, improve, control). At the stage of corrosion monitoring, the basis for decision making is the level of process safety risk with the use ofa10-point scale. Reservation as a universal method of reliability assurance is used upon an established procedure of corrosion monitoring (define, measure) and diagnostics (analyze, improve, control) system of corrosion protection of structural steel. Results. Process safety is achieved with the time reservation of the load capacity of struc-tural steel with account for functional survivability of corrosion protection system under an acceptable risk of conse-quences of industrial facilities stress-corrosion fracture. Thus, conditions are being created for logistical management and analysis of risks of structural solutions of reliability assurance programs when extending industrial facility life. Originality. A high level of the fixed assets depreciation and limited life span of structures pose a significant thread to technological safety. Technological safety is an important structural component of the enterprise safety, which charac-terizes the system of measures for maintaining serviceability and improving performance of structures that have com-pletely or largely exhausted their design life. Such facilities are viewed as a source of potential hazard in the course of their modernization (refurbishment), revamp, and service life extension. Practical value. Logistical system has been generated for structural survivability reserve planning on the basis of signs of corrosion hazard. Development of the provisions of work has allowed proposing a classification of technical and process risks signs under restoration of struc-ture corrosion protection while maintaining and repairing facilities in their actual state.
