Respondents were active participants and audiences of a certain sports event conducted in the country. The researcher used frequency and distribution in analyzing the demographic profile of the respondents and weighted mean in interpreting the attitude of the respondents towards sports tourism based on the three domains, namely; economic, socio-cultural, and environment. T-test was also utilized in testing the significant difference of the attitudes of the respondents when grouped according to their classification as sports tourists. Based on the result of the study the respondents show a positive attitude towards the impact of sports tourism in the economic and environmental dimension of sports tourism while a neutral attitude towards socio-cultural. Hence, sports tourism as a flourishing type of tourism in the country is appreciated by the local people.
