AUTHOR’S STYLE OF ENGLISH LITERATURE OF XVIII – XXI CENTURIES: REALISATION OF LEXICO-SEMANTICAL CLASSES

Abstract
The idiostyles of English literature on the example of the novels of the XVIII – XXI centuries’ writers are analyzed in the article. The lexico-grammatical classes of nouns, verbs, adjectives and pronouns are basis of this research. We investigated the use of lexico-grammatical classes in every century based on the statistical analysis. The frequency indexes of the given lexico-grammatical classes prove peculiarities of author’s style in English literature of certain century. Similarities and differences of idiostyles, including gender factor, are fixed to work out in detail of the researched data.
