Balanced Scorecard development over the last 26 years

Abstract
Robert Kaplan and David Norton introduced the Balanced Scorecard in their 1992 Harvard Business Review article. 26 years since that article. This anniversary has inspired me to review the development of the balanced scorecard, to highlight its generations and to outline some ideas for its future. To this end, the contribution of the research to the field is the review of Balanced Scorecard development over the last 26 years.
