BANKING ACTIVITY IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The stages of the banking activity evolution are investigated; the fifth stage, which began in 2008, has been substantiated and characterized by the development and implementation of banking supervision systems and the introduction of digital technologies into banking activity. The directions of financial technology development are determined and the main of them are described. Conclusions regarding the directions of banking activity development in the conditions of digital technology development are made.
