Begastri bajo el dominio árabe. Las etapas de destrucción de la ciudad
Journal Title: Alquipir - Year 2022, Vol 9, Issue 1
Abstract
The city of Begastri was inhabited since the Iron Age with Iberian, Roman, Visigothic and Muslim civilizations before its complete abandonment. For the defense of the city from the different invasions, the imposing walls that surround the current site were developed. The city passed into Muslim hands with the Pact of Teodomiro. This superposition of civilizations has left different remains such as graves and remains of the productive economy of the inhabitants.
