Abstract
The environmental effects of the use of fossil fuels are becoming more obvious and concern is increasing rapidly. As in the building sector energy savin objectives are from 15 to 30% in terms of specific energy consumption, schools have a critical role to play.By being more energy efficient, schools can help prevent greenhouse gas emissions and improve the students’ learning environment. School districts can and have used the savings from improved energy performance to help pay for building improvements and other upgrades that enhance the learning environment. Zero Net Energy Buildings are buildings meaning deliver as much energy to the supply grids as they use from the grids and Zero Carbon Buildings are buildings that over a year do not use energy thatimplicate carbon dioxide emission. Reducing energy demands is critical in planning a net-zero design for schools .The success of net-zero energy schools is largely driven by location and availability of renewable energy sources. Reducing energy demands is critical in planning a net-zero design for schools. This study indicades the Benefits and goals of designing of zero energy schools .
