Bezpieczeństwo pacjenta po udarze niedokrwiennym mózgu w praktyce ZRM

Journal Title: Na Ratunek - Year 2017, Vol 1, Issue 1

Abstract

In the treatment of cerebral infarction, the shortest possible time to the onset of the therapy is of particular significance for the patient health and safety. An optimal hospitalization place for a person with recent cerebral infarction, ensuring the highest safety, is a specialized stroke centre. Transportation of a patient with such a diagnosis to an emergency department or other unit that does not ensure fast and efficient thrombolytic therapy is undesirable. The prospective harm for a patient due to the delay in the proper intervention may result in a civil or criminal liability of a paramedic. The paper includes the analysis of scientific guidelines, legal regulations and control actions in this field.
