Abstract

The following article analyzes the implementation of the EU visa-free re-gime in the Eastern Partnership countries (Moldova, Georgia, and Ukraine). The main positive consequences of the visa-free regime inthese countries (the consolidation of the sense of human dignity andfreedom of mobility, the popula-tion’s pro-European orientation, increased citizen mobility, an increase of va-lue of the national citizenship / passport, development of transport infrastruc-ture formigration and other) are revealed. At the same time, the negativeconse-quences (increase of the number of visa-free regime violations (irregular mi-grants and pseudo-refugees, etc.) are also analyzed. Thearticle sheds light on the main directions and measures ofconsolidation of the EU visa-free regime in the Eastern Partnershipcountries.
