Бінарність «центр – околиця»: середньовічне місто у творчості Павла Загребельного

Abstract
Статтю присвячено вивченню функціонування бінарності «центр – околиця» середньовічного міста в історичних романах П.Загребельного. На прикладі тріади «замок – храм – ринок» (за Б.Марковим) підкреслюється як фактичне/ умовне розмежування міського простору від околиць, наслідком якого є їх соціокультурна різношаровість, відмінність економічної структури, релігійної свідомості тощо, так і їх співіснування. Визначено окремі унікальні принципи сприйняття і відтво- рення міської дійсності у творах автора, що притаманні давньоруській свідомості і є відмінними від традиційних для світо- вої культури.
