BIOSTIMULATOR ON THE BASIS OF LOW-MOLECULAR CHITOSAN FROM THE CRAYFISH CRUST FOR PREPLANT PROCESSING OF TOMATO SEEDS  

Abstract

The results of laboratory and field tests of the first year preplant processing of tomato seeds of the "Gift" type by the preparation "Agrostimulus" made on the basis of low-molecular chitosan with mo-lecular weight 20 kDa, are given. The increase in field germinability of tomato seeds by 10 %, produc-tivity by 18.8 % in comparison with control (without processing of seeds) has been fixed. Efficiency of the usage of the preparation "Agrostimulus" against harmful diseases (alternarios) of tomato plants has been also observed.
