Bone objects of the suburban estates Olvia choirs

Abstract

The authors introduce the scientific articles of bone turnover classical and Hellenistic period excavated in 2003-2016 two suburban estates Olbia – Shyroka Balka-6 and Shyroka Balka-7. It is about thirty-eight objects of different functionality (rasps, handle knives, awls, astragalus, etc.). The authors proposed a new version of the application «rasps» and bone spindles. Items found on separate estates located outside of the city, support the view of researchers about the wide use of bones for production purposes and for a variety of economic classes residents of estates throughout their existence. The lack of archaeological places of production of fixed bone products (specialized workshops) does not preclude their production outside the manor in separatel designated areas. Test material is expanding knowledge base of research of domestic manufacturing employment population choirs Olbia.
