Abstract

In the article on the basis of study monographs and periodicals are outlined certain directions of forming historiographical tradition study of the origin and formation of the institute of princely power in Russia and its influence on the formation of statehood in the eastern Slavs. In the IX century was the beginning of the feudal structure that existed in Russia for a thousand years. Early feudalism – covered IX-XI centuries. It coincided with a period of political-territorial processing of Rus formation. This was a kind of transition period, when the central government was unable to restrict the rights of the local nobility. Rus became the product of the evolution of social and political relations in East Slavic tribes that took place in the second half of the millennium. On the eve of the emergence of Kievan Rus in Eastern Europe there were two zones of influence, Baltic – controlled Normans and Caspian-Black Sea - controlled Khazar Khanate. They fought among themselves for influence over the Slavs. They didn’t know about the impact of the Normans, so polians occupied the isolated position among tribal alliances. Polians, before the establishment over them the Khazar exposure, had their own princely dynasty, its own political history. This allowed the chroniclers to use them to describe the history of God's chosen people and their capital as a prototype statehood God's chosen city. Therefore, the ancient scribes, chroniclers appearance of princely power equivalent to the start of fact, the beginning of their history, which is measured them «from the beginning of the city», that was associated with specific historical myth of a God's chosen people and God's chosen certain city. Chronicles, which were prepared under the supervision of Kiev Rurik dynasty, had to show a legendary, in the spirit of contemporary legends about the origin of power, the history of the princely dynasty. Chroniclers remained neglected local princely dynasty of Slavic tribal unions. «Ideologically-right» treated Slavic legends and sagas Norman appearance of princely power in clearings and in the eastern Slavs. Thus, during the VII-X century Eastern Slavs had the processes of forming their own unified state, which was the next act of state the peoples of Eastern Europe. The first tribal unions, facing the Slavs in the middle of the first millennium AD gave impetus to the evolution of the Institute of one-man rule and the emergence of its own prince Rurik dynasty, which has managed to gradually unite the tribes and unions to justify their own sacred right to control and power over the subjugated population.
