Business plan for the manufacture of artisan snacks for dogs

Abstract
In recent years, companies dedicated to the sale of pet food have been seen, which have put commercial value above nutritional value. Based on this, the objective was to generate from this research: Identify the conditions for the design of a business plan for the manufacture of artisan snacks aimed at canine pets. Methodologically it was approached as a field investigation, positivist paradigm, quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 377 dog owners. To collect the information, the survey was used and the results were analyzedthrough descriptive statistics. The results showed that 58% of the sample has at least one pet dog, 66% consider that they are of the average economic level, 50% incorporate croquettes into the diet of canines. 74% showed interest in acquiring healthy snacks if they are produced within the community and 79% believe that the best way to publicize this healthy snack is through social networks. All these results allow us to conclude that the conditions are given for the design of a business plan for the manufacture of artisanal snacks aimed at canine pets
