Carbohydrate Metabolism Disorders in Patients with Chronic Pancreatitis

Abstract

This article deals with dependence of the carbohydrate metabolism disorders on the duration of disease in patients with non-destructive chronic pancreatitis. Patients with a disease duration of up to three years we mainly observed impaired fasting glucose, for the duration of chronic pancreatitis from three to five years there has been impaired glucose tolerance, in individuals with experience more than 5 years diabetes mellitus is more common.
