Case of chronic balanoposthitis with detection of Pentatrichomonas hominis

Abstract
A clinical case is presented — a man with manifestations of chronic urethritis and balanoposthitis, probably caused by Pentatrichomonas hominis. Consistent treatment with ornidazole and nifurоtel in the background of external therapy with metronidazole cream and the correction of diabetes allowed achieving etiologic and clinical recovery.
