Category–conceptual energy saving apparatus: modern theoretical approaches

Abstract
The subject of the study is the economic system of the categorical–conceptual energy saving apparatus, which is based on the developed legal framework for promoting energy saving at the Ukrainian construction companies. The purpose of the study is to outline the economic content of the essence of energy saving as an economic category in terms of development of the theoretical foundations of the strategy of forming a management mechanism at construction enterprises. Research methods are general scientific and applied research methods of economic phenomena. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research are the fundamental positions of economic theory, scientific and methodological developments of leading scientists in the field of energy saving management. Results of the work. The article analyzes the essence and gives a description of the basic definitions of the categorical and conceptual apparatus of energy saving. According to the results of the research, author’s interpretation of energy saving as an economic category is proposed, the property of the category of energy saving for the conceptual apparatus both in the general theoretical sense and in the branch aspect of economic science is substantiated. Application of results. Economic sector: Economic problems and mechanisms of resource and energy saving and intensification of production. Conclusions. The article presents the most common definitions, classifies theoretical approaches to the interpretation of the essence of «energy saving» on the key basis characteristics, which allows more reasonably to justify the author’s interpretation of the category of energy saving as a complex scientific, innovative, organizational, staffing support in the system of efficient use of energy resources and involvement in economic– commercial activity of renewable energy sources, which is realized using technical, ecological, economic, social and legal methods.
