Abstract
An article is considered question weight and monetary systems of the Bronze and Iron period in the territory of Azerbaijan. It has given a new version concerning weight system of that time. The main weight unit at the time, called "Caucasian shekels," had its parallel in the form of a valid payment equivalent. Bronze bracelets merged based on the system. They functioned as money and at the same time as a weight standard.
