The changes were investigated using a questionnaire completed by twelve patients selected from a group 50 patients of the Wroclaw Pro Corde Outpatient Center of Cardiologic Rehabilitation.Results. The introduced changes in the lifestyle, such as: changes of habits, dietary principles and physical activity caused the decrease in weight in 91,6% of the patients. In all patients a significant decrease in systolic blood pressure was lower than 120 mm Hg) was noted, while in 83.3% of the patients had the total cholestelor level within the normal range (180-200 mg/dl). After a year their number increased to 50%, and a notably decreased cholestelor concentration was observed in all patients.Conclusions. After a year following infarction, in all the investigated parameters, the most positive changes were observed in systolic and diastolic blood pressure, total cholestelor concentration, BMI index and stress management. Less noticeable changes were observed in the indexes connected with tobacco smoking and preferences as for leisure time activities, what was connected with the patients' negative habits.
