CHANGES OF ANTIMITOCHONDRIAL ANTIBODY LEVELS IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC HEPATITIS C DURING TREATMENT AND THEIR ASSOCIATION WITH CLINICAL-LABORATORY AND EPIDEMIOLOGICAL DATA
Journal Title: Гепатологія - Year 2017, Vol 38, Issue 4
Abstract
Analyzing autoantibodies level of the patients with chronic hepatitis C who were on antiviral therapy with interferon drugs, the increase in the number of patients with elevated amount of antimitochondrial antibodies (AMA) was established on the 12th week of therapy. Also, the connection between clinical data (especially complaints that are specifi c for autoimmune disease disorders - arthralgia, myalgia) and concomitant pathology of autoimmune genesis with increased AMA in patients’ blood was detected. Th ese patients during antiviral therapy also showed connection between habitat (mainly rural), level of activity (positive relationship), the degree of fi brosis (inverse relationship), viral load (positive relationship) and alleles of IL-28V (mainly CT / TT, CT / TG).
