CHANGES OF CHOSEN PROPERTIES OF SANDY SOIL IN RESULT OF COMPOST APPLICATION
Journal Title: Colloquium Biometricum; Colloquium Biometricum (Online) - Year 2016, Vol 46, Issue
Abstract
In this paper, the analysis of variance of the results of experiment conducted in laboratory conditions is described. The objective of this study was to evaluate changes in soil reaction, hydrolytic acidity, sum of bases and available potassium and magnesium in sandy soil incubated with two doses of composted sewage sludge (30 and 120 Mg per hectare) over period of 180 days. The data obtained showed that with regard to the unamended soil, both the 30 and 120 Mg per hectare treatments similarly influenced on analyzed properties but the effect was more visible at the case of the higher compost dose. Additionally it was found, that compost prepared on the basis of sewage sludge is an important source of potassium and magnesium. During incubation process the patterns of changes of hydrolytic acidity and available potassium and magnesium were different for particular treatments

The growth curve model with heterogenous fractional decreasing correlation structure
In this text we will derive estimators of unknown parameters for growth curve model with different decrease of dependency in groups and we will compare them for the case of two groups. We will use method of maximum likel...
RELATIONS BETWEEN TERNARY DESIGNS AND D-OPTIMAL WEIGHING DESIGNS WITH NON-NEGATIVE CORRELATED ERRORS
This work was intended as an attempt at motivating to increase the list of possible classes in that we are able to construct optimal plans of experiments. Here, we consider the criterion of D-optimality. We introduce the...
LOGIC REGRESSION FOR DIAGNOSTIC CLASSIFICATION BY MEANS OF BIOMARKER PANELS
Biomarkers can indicate a variety of health or disease characteristics, including the level or type of exposure to an environmental factor, genetic susceptibility, genetic responses to exposures, markers of subclinical o...
New test for comparison of binomial proportions: power comparison
In the problem of comparison of two probabilities of success the most widely used test is approximate test based on de Moivre-Laplace theorem. In Jaworski and Zieliński (2017) a new test based on the likelihood ratio was...
A METHOD FOR ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA FROM FIELD AND BREWERY TRIALS
In the paper a method for statistical analysis of data with brewing barley is proposed which allows to use information from designing a field experiment. The experiment was conducted during the growing seasons 2008–2010...
