Abstract
The article analyzes the social space of Ukraine. Modernity is characterized by accelerated pace of development, the basis of which is increasingly the non-industrial, but human capital. The displacement of the demographic structure in the direction of increasing the proportion of older people creates the need to actualize the potential of those layers that traditionally remained beyond the limits of social production – older people.
