Abstract
The study was conducted in 2014 on forest meadows located in the village Uniemino in Borne Sulinowo municipality. The aim of the study was to determine the floristic composition, utilitarian value and chosen floristic values in selected plant communities. The research included also the analysis of selected physicochemical properties of soils and chemical properties of plants. The communities of the studied grassland were classified as the following floristic types: Agrostis capilaris (Research areas 1), Luzula campestris (Research areas 2), Phleum pratense (Research areas 3), Lupinus polyphyllus (Research areas 4), Phleum pratense (Research areas 5), Holcus lanatus and Arrhenatherum elatius (Research areas 6).With the use of humidity numbers (Oświt 1992), the communities of selected floristic types were classified as dry and periodically moistened to fresh and moist. In the studied area, the communities were characterised by utilitarian value from 3.22 to 7.36 and by conservation values from average small to moderate. The floristic variety of communities on the studied grassland was influenced by humidity conditions and succession connected to their exclusion from agricultural use. Low content of macro- and micronutrients in the soil was reflected in the chemical composition of plant samples. The concentration of elements in the analysed samples was lower than that estimated for good fodder.
