CHERNOZEM IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND THE MEMORY OF WORLD NATIONS

Abstract
The purpose of this publication - to analyze the role and importance of Chernozem in the history of the soil science, particularly its new direction - genetic soil science. Monuments are important in the case of careful treatment and conservation of natural objects, including soils. Monuments to soils have been preserved in the ancient writings - Egyptian papyri and stelae, chronicles, maps etc. Based on the importance of Chernozem in nature and society, many countries erect monuments to it, dedicated scientific works, fiction, poems, announce Years of Chernozem, justifiably believing it is the standard of excellence in the world soils.
