Chronic urticaria: modern approaches to classification, diagnostics and patients’ management in terms of evidence-based medicine

Abstract

The article deals with pathogenesis, modern classification and diagnostics for chronic urticaria. The disease is a multidisciplinary and the most spread skin disorder. About 1.8 % among adults and 0.1—0.3 % children experienced urticaria. The disease causes significant worsening of life quality. Regarding evidence-based medicine, we outline three stages of the disease pharmacotherapy. Bilastin is considered as an antihistamine medication of European doctors’ choice. Numerous research have proved its efficacy and safety.
