Abstract

ABSTRACTSatisfying the needs of the population in accordance with sustainable development is not an easy task for governments in a world ruled by consumerism and the lack of education in ecological matters among citizens.The management policies of a city should be pertinent to an efficient administration of resources without compromising future generations. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to establish the vision of the political management of the city and sustainable development for the construction of governance, habitability and productivity. Therefore, a positivist methodology was used, with a qualitative approach, having a documentary type modality and a descriptive level. The data collection technique used was the signing, which included the classification of the data and the content card. The data analysis was carried out by means of dialectical analysis. Among the results, we areinvitedto rethink that the rights of the city are universal public goods. Which must be defended jointly: State/Citizenship, therefore, it is necessary to promote continuously and permanently, thatwater, air, land and energy as the rights of the city, are universal public goods, of all citizens
