Journal Title: Medicine and Philosophy - Year 2024, Vol 45, Issue 23

Abstract

In medical practice, ethical principles play a crucial role, such as the principle of "respect," which provides guidance for ethical decision-making. However, practical application requires the integration of specific situations and emotional factors. This paper thoroughly explores the application of medical ethical principles in diverse situations, especially in ethical dilemmas, and examines how to balance ethical principles, specific situations, and emotional morals. The study aims to ensure that ethical decisions achieve a harmonious integration of rationality and humanity across various contexts. It offers new perspectives for potential ethical dilemmas in clinical practice, with the goal of enhancing the ethical decision-making capabilities of medical professionals in China, thereby fostering harmonious doctor-patient relationships and promoting the development of high-quality healthcare.
