COGNITIVE AND OPERATIONAL COMPONENT OF THE SCIENTIFIC AND METHODIC SYSTEM OF FORMING A COMPETITIVE PROFESSIONAL OF MUNICIPAL ECONOMY

Abstract

Training of competitive professionals, in particular, for the field of municipal economy, requires development and implementation of a scientific and methodic system. One of the elements of the system suggested is the cognitive and operational component. The analysis of scientific literature proves that for a successful professional realization the majority of authors register, firstly, availability of generated professional knowledge, skills, competences as well as opportunities for their practical application and, secondly, forming of personal characteristics, in particular, strong communication skills in combination with the ability to choose the right communication strategies, social responsibility, ability to be a member of a team, comparable evaluation of the personal potential, creativity, professional mobility, etc. The article discusses the cognitive and operational component of the scientific and methodic system of competitive professional training in the field of municipal economy. This component realization is based on a gradual introduction into the academic curriculum the disciplines the content of which is corrected according to the purpose of strong competitiveness development. The corrected content of the disciplines of the academic curriculum, introduced in the 1-4 years of studies, is characterized and some of the courses are described in details, namely, “Ukrainian language for professional communication”, “Enterprise Competitiveness”, “Management” and Project analysis”. The findings of the research prove that formation of the cognitive and operational component of the scientific and methodic system of training a competitive professional of municipal economy requires development of a pedagogical strategy, namely, a gradual introduction of academic disciplines having a content corrected to suit the task of professional competitiveness development. The pedagogical impact on the students is actualized using a module model (influence performed during studying of academic disciplines) and additional model (extramural activities). Generally, to solve the problem of forming competitive professionals of municipal economy, it is essential to develop and implement a scientific and methodic system. The cognitive and operational component of this system enables to form and improve professional competences and personal characteristics of the future professional.
