COMMUNICATIVE FUNCTIONS OF GENERAL INTERROGATIVE SENTENCES IN THE CHARACTER’S SPEECH

Abstract
The article presents the results of the study of communicative functions of general interrogative scentences in the personal dialogue of German feature films. The scentence is considered as a unit of the language and speech level, realizing itself on the basis of traditional grammar rules and verbalizing interrogative saying, which is aimed at confirming or refuting information known by both communicators. The general interrogative scentences means as a tool of opening of an information lacuna in a dialogue, forcing the interlocutor to show the reaction. In the course of the study of language material, it was discovered that the implementation of the information request in the dialogue is carried out with the help of simple, complex subordinal or coordinal and elliptical structures of general interrogative scentences, some of which correspond to the rules of traditional grammar, and some have a broken structure of the predicative center. The change in the positions of the subject and the predicate in the scentence of this communicative type is used to give expression to expressiveness. With the help of inventory all the revealed predicative structures of general questioning scentences, the main structural-syntactic models are revealed, on the basis of which they realise themselves in the dialogue. The study of the sentence in the context of language and non-linguistic factors that influence its expression in personal dialogue has allowed to define the entire spectrum of communicative functions that they realize. As a result, it has been established that in the character speech they are used primarily to clarify certain, partly known information, however, in some cases such statements are used for the implementation of other communicative functions, in particular, the expression of requests, sentences, activating the interlocutor to act similar.
