COMMUNICATIVE STRATEGIES AND TACTICS IN THE ENGLISH-LANGUAGE POLITICAL MEDIA DICOURSE

Abstract
The article is devoted to the evaluation of strategies and tactics used by politicians while constructing electronic media texts on their personal sites. A special attention is focused on communicative attributes of the text, which undergoes significant changes under new conditions. The paper gives examples of convergent processes observed in the language. The tendency to the usage of linguistic means contributing to shorting distance between the addressee and the addresser and creating dialogue illusion is identified
