Community Social Services for Old and The elderly in a Village

Abstract
The objective of this article is to analyze the social support net in villages of Lithuania and the environment of old and elderly people lives, who receive social services. Proceedings of foreign authors are discussed, which justify informal social support net and the environment of old and elderly people. Details of empirical research in our villages are presented in the article. Conclusions, which allow foreseeing the possibilities of communal service development for old and elderly people in the village, are presented.
