Comparative analysis of utility models protection systems: basic aspects

Abstract
This study illustrates legal, policy, and institutional framework of utility models protection based upon an understanding of the statutory, procedural, and institutional aspects of this constituent of intellectual property systems in Austria, China, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, and Italy. It also briefly discusses relevant experiences of Belgium and the Netherlands.
