Comparing Data Transmission Techniques Used in Industrial Areas

Abstract

In this study, the data transmission techniques used in industrial systems have compared and issues for determining appropriate communication technique that is suitable for the user’s aim and system must be considered is specified. Technical informations and comparisons about determined according to international standards and widely used data transmission techniques are given. Technical information such as transmission baud rate, distance and operating frequency about nowadays rapidly spreading wireless communication technology are given in details to make easier selection in communication supported systems. The informations presented and comparisons made provide guidance for the projects in need of industrial communication feature.
