COMPETENCY-BASED EDUCATION: FROM THEORY TO PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY

Abstract

The modern educational paradigm demonstrates the transition from learning outcomes to practice-oriented competencies. The article considers the role of different approaches to competency-based education in the world. The key idea of competency-based learning can be described as providing the learner with knowledge and skills to apply competencies.
