COMPLEX APPROACH TO TREATMENT OF ADULTS WITH PARODONTAL DISEASES

Abstract
People of the elderly, above all, need additional orthodontic treatment to eliminate the problems associated with periodontal disease. A total of 30 adult periodontal disease patients were examined, who had initially received treatment from related specialists and were ready to start orthodontic treatment. The main thing is that after the orthodontic treatment, in 75.7% of patients, the bone from the pressure does not differ in the x-ray images, and in the 24.3% bone pattern is not so clear. Nevertheless, the histological study showed that when moving the teeth, there is a thin epithelial layer that lays the entire root along the alveolar bone. On the side of the stress, we observed a morphological reduction of the bone and the entire part of the root was covered with an epithelial layer. So doing restoring treatment procedures, which not only enriched the possibilities of the periodontologist, but also greatly improved the ability of the affected periodontal disease. Therefore, today’s orthodontists are increasingly counting on non-removable equipment.
