Compliance as a category of economic security of an industrial enterprise

Abstract
The article deals with the issues of ensuring the economic security of the enterprise. The factors that most affect the state of economic security are considered. The importance and necessity of ensuring compliance safety of an industrial enterprise is substantiated. Theoretically, the possibilities of applying a compliance-function for a more complete security of the industrial enterprise are substantiated. Based on a detailed analysis of the existing definitions of the term "compliance", it is proposed to define compliance as an enterprise’s efforts to comply with national and international laws, standards and rules applicable to its activities, including its own internal corporate policies and procedures. Introduced into scientific circulation a new term "compliance-security industrial enterprise".
